    Hey it's been a while.
I've noticed that I have a bad habit of disappearing on people. I know I have friends all across Louisiana and beyond and I haven't talk to them in like forever. Now because of Hurricane Katrina I'm here in Texas and I've made good friends here too, but at the end of the semester I have to leave to New Orleans. My problem is communicating with everyone. I mean I have no car, I have no cell phone, but I do have the internet, and that can only do so much.

Anyways my goal next semester is to find some way to get to LSU.

    OK back to work!

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH KOOLAID
Something I found on the internet sparked my eyes.

The first letter of your name determines your sexual personality. Here's what I got:

You are very interested in sexual activities yet
secretive and shy about your desires. You can re-channel much of your
sexual energy into making money and/or seeking power. You can easily
    have extended periods of celibacy
. You are a passionate, compassionate,
sexual lover, requiring the same qualities from your mate. Sex is
serious business; thus you demand intensity diversity, and are willing
to try anything or anyone. Sometimes your passions turn to
possessiveness, which must be kept in check.

For a second I thought something was wrong with me.

    I think I've become a full-fledged emo kid.
Ok, the emo music out today is alright, with groups like My Chemical Romance, Fallout Boy, Hawthorne Heights, but none of them really stir your soul. Ok, maybe MCR does with a song called "Demolition Lovers", but I haven't heard enough of them to pass judgment.

There was one group I listened to back in the day but was turned away because everybody was playing a song called "Sweetness". This band, Jimmy Eat World, actually was STELLAR before they went mainstream. I really like their old stuff because it invokes so much emotion. As in me, emo kid.

But they're a good band, like their music, like their message.

And back to more java rambling. I've got stuff done, might upload it another day.

Umm, if I'd recommend a Jimmy Eat World song, I'd go with Goodbye Sky Harbor. Still, alot of good stuff by them.

And I'm out like a trout.

    Hmm.

    I've got plans.

First, I plan to go see Blue Oyster Cult at the Gretna Heritage Festival. Although they aren't paired up with Foghat (which I missed out on), they still are going to be performing. I'm sure Chris wouldn't mind going since he lives right by them. Unfortunately, many of our friends have moved away, like Brian, James, and Thomas. Hmm.

Second, I plan on going to Voodoo Music Festival. I'm still debating as to go in full-fledged emo-kid clothes, but I'm not sure. I plan to see My Chemical Romance and Nine Inch Nails, though Tavish has recommended DJ Tiesto. I saw his CD in a store down here, so I guess he's a Mexican act.

I need new headphones too. I love my new laptop and will love it more when I can use it's wireless internet. I might get a new microphone after I try out these programs called Skype and Wingizmo out. They're supposed to be able to make phone calls from your computer. I am still looking for the source code so that perhaps I could make my own program. Still, last time I checked, I think they were in C++ and I'm not too familiar with it.

    soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
I'm going to finish this quiz program. I've finished the editor, here it is: http://www.cs.uno.edu/~ogallet/QuizEditor.jar
    It's not totally bug-proof, but it's usable.

Jeez I need to go back home if I have nothing to do than program. Ha ha.

    Hey.
The last slideshow is done. Check the last entry for the hyperlink.

I'm taking a break from these now since I want to play around with sound a bit and I'm going to San Antonia in a couple of days. So I'm getting more vacation.

    Which I horribly need.

Oh and if anyone has an idea for a slideshow, drop a message. See ya.

    Hmm need feedback.
This is the current project. I need some ideas for the last slide. Check it out:

Hope y'all think it's funny. It's actually more coherent than the first one.

    Egad. Finally an update.
Hmm, I've think I've got something folks. My first slideshow done in Java. Wicked Stellar to the nth degree, done by me, word word I've got mad rhyming skills.

    The Show!

It loads slow, yes, but that's because the images AND THEN the sounds are getting loaded. When I get around to fixing it, I'm going to try to have them load at the same time. But as for the slideshow, it's pretty dumb, you might get a kick out of it.

Oh, and if you can't see it, you probably need the Java plug-in:

    The plug-in

Anyway, feedback is appreciated. A lot of revisions to come though.

And I seriously need to get off this My Chemical Romance hitch. Really.
